William J. Gazaway

William J Gazaway, age 68 of Morganton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home. He was born January 4, 1944 in Atlanta, GA to the late R J and Nellie Ethridge Gazaway . He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: wife, Hattie Marie Gazaway, sons, William Gazaway, Jr. and Dennis Richard Gazaway, daughter, April Joy Gazaway Smith, sisters, Inez Blanton, Louise Roberts, Betty Lou Pritchett and Mary Jane Kitchens, grandchildren, Wesley Gazaway, Heather Gazaway, Ben Smith, Ethan Smith, step granddaughter, Julie Huffman, great granddaughter, Malie May Braley, step granddaughter, Malrie Huffman.

Funeral services: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. . .

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday, July 09, 2012 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
