William Morgan

September 15, 1941 — March 19, 2024

Morganton, GA

William Feddie "Bill" Morgan, age 82 of Morganton, GA , passed away on March 19, 2024 after an extended illness he fought so bravely.

William was born in 1941 to William Edward Morgan and Maureen Lynn Hall Morgan at Harbin Hospital in Rome, GA.

Daddy wore many hats and worked many various careers in his life. Most notably was his love of automobiles; 2, 4 and 18 wheels, and every career centered around engines and tires that moved. If it didn't move and was supposed to, he could fix it and make it new again, just not our mother's mixer!

In 2000, William retired and spent time between Daytona Beach and Morganton, GA. He built his beloved cabin in the woods in Morganton and lived out his final days there. He loved racing and needed to be near the action in Daytona purchasing a home just blocks from the racetrack. He spent his retirement engaged in racing, car auctions and reminiscing of his time with his best friend Jerry King, who proceeded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his passing his three children; Kellie Morgan of Acworth, GA, Kimberly Morgan and Kristie Morgan Lawler of Rome, GA; his three grandchildren Ashlee Morgan, Kody Lawler and Will Morgan, as well as his brother and family Steve, Kim, Brianna and Brittany Morgan of Rome, GA.

In respecting our father's wishes, we will not conduct services at this time. A private celebration will be scheduled later. In lieu flowers, please make donations of your time and resources to a local senior outreach program. Focus on allowing our seniors to remain in their homes and continue their normal lifestyles until the end.
